Our Mares

August Sunset (New Years Grapes X Doc Arnyce) is a 1993 dark bay 17 hand thoroughbred mare who was unraced, yet had a brilliant career as a hunter/jumper winning many year end awards for the Illinois Short Circuit and Northern Illinois Hunter Jumper Association along with winning many champion and reserve champion awards. She was named the 1997 horse of the show at a hunter jumper show. She has also done some mini-events during her awesome campaign. She retired sound to a broodmare in 2004. She has had 4 foals with pictures of her 2007 and 2008 foals available on each of their respective website pages. Her 2008 foal by Chet DT is one of the most prolifically colored thoroughbred/APHA colts in the world! Her 2009 colt is almost a carbon copy but in a lighter bay! She is back in foal to Chet DT for a 2010 foal. Her pedigree is available at the following link:

Badaboom is a 1999 15.2 hand dark bay thoroughbred mare who retired from the race track with career winnings of $44,454. She had a beautiful buckskin colt in 2008 and a stunning chestnut and white overo, dual registered APHA and JC filly. She is being bred back to Chet DT for a 2010 foal.

Da Champagne Lady (The Wicked North X Vineyard) is a 2000 chestnut sabino thoroughbred mare who had a short career on the race track winning $8,312.00 before suffering a career ending knee slab fracture. Although the knee has healed, her life as a performance horse is over. On August 1, 2007, "Champ" delivered a beautiful chestnut and white colt (the first from Puchilingui in five years). This colt was also Puchilingui's last colt since he passed in 2008. Pictures of him can be seen on our 2007 foals page. She has been bred to Chet DT for a 2010 foal for Mr. Jerry Tyler. Her pedigree is available at the following link:

Hazy Cloud (Clever Trace x Likes A Girl) is a 1993 16.1 hand dark bay thoroughbred mare who retired with career earnings of $16,021. She was retired to a hunter/jumper lesson horse and now a broodmare. She is in foal to Chet DT for a hopefully, colorful 2010 foal. A link to her pedigree can be seen below:

Indelibull Rose (Hesabull x Sometimes A Rose) is a 2000 dark bay 15.3 hand thoroughbred mare who suffered a career ending ankle injury after winning $19,090.00 on the race track. She is a sabino mare with three socks and a star/stripe/snip who is in foal to Chet DT for a 2010 foal that will be registerable both with the Jockey Club and the American Paint Horse Association. Her 2009 filly is a stunning all white foal who is dual registered as a bay overo APHA and white JC thoroughbred!

Marquetta is a 2002 model who is by Marquetry and out of Petite D'Accord. She stands a grand 16.2 hands and is dark bay with a star and back sock. She has produced some very colorful race-bred foals in the past and we are expecting a colorful foal when we breed her to Chet DT in Febuary 2009! Her 2008 yearling foal sold at the Fasig-Tipton sale for $14,000. Many know that the sabino gene can be a "sleeper gene" so even though she is "plain bay," don't let that fool you. A perfect example was August Sunset with her 2008 foal, Bobby Jenks! With her prolifically colored sire, we look for an interesting foal in 2010! Pictures to come soon.

Perfectlyrequested is a 2000 registered black sabino thoroughbred who produced the first white thoroughbred in Illinois in 2006. Her 2008 foal was a bay sabino colt. Although she was never raced, she had a very successful career as a hunter/jumper and eventing career. Perfectlyrequested will be moving to Canada in 2009 and is confirmed in foal to Chet DT for a 2010 foal.  Her pedigree is available at the following link:

Saved (Favorite Trick X Slew Harbor Slew) is a 2001 15.3 hand bay rabicano registered thoroughbred mare. She had a successful career on the track retiring sound and winning $23,950.00 before turning to the eventing world and having a short, but successful career there as well. In 2007, Saved produced Illinois' second all white thoroughbred. Saved had Puchilingui's last foal since he died in the winter of 2008. Her bay sabino filly was born on 6/11/08 and pictures of her can be seen on the 2008 foals page. The foal produced in 2009 is stunning!. A link to her pedigree is here:
