Puchilingui is one of the most prolifically colored thoroughbred stallions that is accredited for his influence in changing the color of thoroughbreds as we know them today. He is a miximally expressed sabino gene thoroughbred.... yes, he really is bay! He has sired numerous thoroughbreds who were beautifully colored and athletically talented for the racetrack and the show ring. He has been bred to APHA mares and produced some of the most beautiful and athletic paint horses as well!  Pictured below is Puchilingui with Jerry Tyler, his owner,  in the winter of 2007 along with some conformation pictures and a short video clip of Puchilingui and some of his foals.

Puchilingui passed away on 1/19/2008 of natural causes. RIP and God Speed Puchi... you will be missed.
